Zimbabwean athlete finishes 19th at Boston Marathon

Zimbabwean long distance runner, Pardon Ndhlovu finished in 19th place out of over 27,000 athletes who started the race at the Boston Marathon held in Boston, USA.

Ndhlovu represented Zimbabwe at the 2016 Olympics as a marathon runner and finished 41st which was enough for him to qualify for this year’s Boston Marathon. The Boston Marathon is an annual marathon hosted by several cities in greater Boston in eastern Massachusetts, United States. It is always held on Patriots’ Day, the third Monday of April. The native Zimbabwean registered a time of 2:20:12 in Monday’s event.
