CAPS United advance after drawing with TP Mazembe

CAPS United drew nil all with TP Mazembe in a second leg CAF Champions League preliminary round fixture at the National Sports Stadium and advanced on an away goal they scored in the first leg in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

CAPS United came close to equalising when Mazembe almost scored an own goal under pressure.Makepekepe had chances in the first half and forced the Congolese into defending with a number of attacks. Mazembe also came close to equalising in the 36th minute with the Green Machine just managing to clear a dangerous free kick by TP Mazembe’s Solomon Asante.

In the 80th minute CAPS United were content with defending the 1-1 draw and went full out in defence as they continued to frustrate TP Mazembe.
