Former Zanu PF Mashonaland Central youth chairman warns Grace Mugabe to stop attacking senior party leaders

Addressing a press conference, former Zanu PF Mashonaland Central youth chairman Godfrey Tsenengamu has warned First lady Grace Mugabe stop attacking senior party leaders who have worked with President Mugabe since 1980.

Said Tsenengamu:

There is need for the succession issue to be discussed in the Zanu PF party. If we start talking about the dead we would rather have the late Chairman Herbert Chitepo leading this nation. The issue of the dead must stop. Emmerson Mnangagwa and others have been loyal to Mugabe but now he (the president) is looking down upon these men. Stop talking about certain issues that you will regret in the future. Do not stoop so low Amai Mugabe. Those who have promised you that you are Presidential material have been lying to you. Remember, Masvingo, Mashonaland East, Manicaland and Mashonaland Central provinces rejected you to be the Women’s first Secretary but you forced your way by virtue of being the First lady. All these provinces have resisted you. What is so special now that makes you think that you could be the president of this country?
