Obert Gutu dismisses rumours that a faction aligned to Chamisa wants Khupe fired for coalition utterances
Speaking ton The Chronicle, MDC-T spokesperson Obert Gutu, dismissed as bar talk, rumours that a faction belonging to Nelson Chamisa wanted one of the party’s three Vice Presidents, Thokozani Khupe to be dismissed for contradicting Morgan Tsvangirai on forming coalition with other parties.
Said Gutu:
We are a very happy party and on several occasions I have made it clear that the president is the one who handles issues of coalitions. We are a party of democracy, happiness and order. President Tsvangirai in the fullness of time will make a grand announcement on the issue of a coalition. I don’t dignify rumours or bar talk, people drink Musombodiya or bronco and say what they want but I won’t comment on that.
