The Matebeleland South organising team for the 21st February Movement celebrations said that they were changing the venue from Hazel Site in the Matobo National Park to Rhodes Estate Preparatory School.
Matobo North legislator, Never Khanye said that they changed the venue because they did not have enough time to prepare it for the celebrations. He said that they expected to raise 150 cattle from A2 farmers for the event that is expected to attract over 100 000 people. Said Khanye:
All A2 farmers that got offer letters must donate a beast each for this event and those that will fail will take it that they don’t appreciate what the President has done for them.
