Magaya's football club, Yadah FC appoints new coach

Newly-promoted Premiership side Yadah Football Club has appointed Jairos Tapera as their head coach for the 2017 season.

Tapera, who is the former Young Warriors coach, replaces Kuda Masaraure who does not have the minimum qualification of a Caf A licence as required by the Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) for all top flight coaches. Club owner Walter Magaya, who is the leader of Prophetic Healing Deliverance (PHD) Ministries, told Daily News that he will be the technical advisor while Tapera will be the head coach with Masaraure being sent to further his coaching credentials.

The club will use Chibuku Stadium as its home ground and is expected to renovate it and make it better. For training they will be using their stadium in Prospect and junior teams will use that stadium for their matches.
