Accused skips court to attend Zanu-PF Conference

Trynos Nkomo was last week brought to a  Beitbridge court in handcuffs after he had absconded an earlier hearing.  Nkomo is facing 8 counts of illegal gold mining.  He allegedly extracted 210 tonnes of gold ore and processed it into gold, all without the required licenses.

Instead of attending court, Nkomo went to the Zanu-Pf Annual Conference in Masvingo.  He donated 5 tonnes of maize and 800 kilogarams to beef to the indaba.
