Kaizer Chiefs to tour Zimbabwe
South African premiership club, Kaizer Chiefs are set to tour Zimbabwe during their mid-season break, which begins after the next round of fixtures between today and Thursday.
Kaizer Chiefs have already written to FC Platinum, expressing their wish to travel to Zvishavane for a friendly match during this break. FC Platinum secretary, Benson Wirimai confirmed the development to NewsDay yesterday, but said, while there was interest from his side, nothing had been confirmed. He said:
I can confirm that they (Kaizer Chiefs) have written to us through their agent, requesting a friendly match either this month or early next month, but nothing so far has been confirmed in terms of the dates or the venue for the proposed match.
