Kasukuwere says he is ready to answer to deceiving Mugabe allegations
A report presented in Parliament on Tuesday by the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Youth, accused the Zanu PF political commissar of deceiving President Robert Mugabe that $50 million had been pledged for the Zimunya-Marange Community Share Ownership Trust (CSOT).
The committee alleges Kasukuwere misled Mugabe, who presented a dummy $1,5m cheque to the Zimunya-Marange CSOT, putting his name into disrepute. However Kasukuwere yesterday tweeted,

NewsDay asked him to clarify his tweet and whether his statement implied that he was ready to defend himself, he said: “Yes, I have to dispel the malice.”
