Zanu PF‘s national political commissar, Saviour Kasukuwere, yesterday said his party will fulfill its promises to the people of Norton despite losing the by-election to independent Temba Mliswa.
In a tweet Kasukuwere said,
Norton ~ we will continue working together and fulfill our promises .

Zanu PF had promised stands to Norton residents ahead of the by-elections. However Zanu PF Youth leader Kudzai Chipanga had warned Norton residents that they risked losing their stands if they did not vote for Zanu PF. The issuing of stands was labelled by opposition parties as vote buying.
