Dynamos Football Club has announced the list of players who have signed contracts for the 2024 season. In a statement seen by Pindula News, the Harare-based giants mentioned that there will be some minor changes to the squad, as some players may be loaned to other teams to comply with league regulations. Dynamos Football Club Unveils 2024 Squad

Dynamos Football Club emerged victorious against <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Chicken Inn</a> in <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Premier Soccer League</a> (PSL) matchday 15 held at <a class="MarkdownLink_linkifiedLink__KxC9G">Barbourfields Stadium</a> in Bulawayo, propelling them to the fourth position on the league table. The Glamour Boys team made four changes to their starting 11 from last week. Elvis, Chikona, Denver Mukamba, and Musiiwa were included in the starting lineup. The substitutes for the match included a total of nine players.

2023/24 PSL Results And Fixtures For Matchday 15

Ngezi Platinum Stars midfielder <a href="https://www.pindula.co.zw/Denver_Mukamba">Denver Mukamba</a> has been included in the provisional 40-member Warriors squad that will prepare for the belated 2021 AFCON finals to be held in Cameroon next month.
The 2012 Soccer Star of the Year, now 31 years old, was last called to the Warriors by Zdravko Logarusic for the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals also held in Cameroon early this year.
Warriors manager, Wellington Mpandare, could not confirm, nor did he deny that the former Dynamos playmaker is in the AFCON team. Said Mpandare:

What I can only confirm is that we have drawn up a team of 40 players who will be provisionally available for the AFCON tournament coming up in January next year.
We have since invited them via their respective teams and we are looking forward to having those players in camp as early as practically possible.

The foreign-based duo of Brendan Galloway and Marshal Munetsi, who were included in the 40-man Warriors squad, has been ruled out of the AFCON finals due to injury.
Aston Villa midfielder Marvelous Nakamba is a doubt after he was taken off in his team’s 0-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday due to a suspected groin strain.
Other locally-based players expected to make the provisional squad include the Dynamos duo of Bill Antonio and Godknows Murwira.
Zimbabwe, who are in Group B, take on Senegal (10 January), Malawi (14 January) and Guinea on 18 January in the group stages.
The 2021 AFCON finals are set to run from 9 January to 6 February in Cameroon.
The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in January this year but CAF decided to postpone it due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chibuku Super Cup Results For Weekend Matches

The Warriors’ manager Wellington Mpandare has taken the time to shed light on why Denver Mukamba was benched in the 2 matches played by the Warriors in Cameroon last week, the Daily News reports.
According to Mpandare, Mukamba was not featured in the first eleven, twice, because he was not feeling well:
<blockquote>People always speculate you know (how it is with) Zimbabwe social media, there is no issue, in fact Denver missed the game on health grounds but now he is back.</blockquote>
Meanwhile, Denver’s long time coach Rodwell Dlakama at different teams said people should not judge Mukamba based on his past experiences:

Dynamos coach Lloyd Chigowe is contemplating dropping Denver Mukamba from his squad for next season. Reports indicate that Mukamba hasn’t communicated with the club and his future is going to be decided at an extraordinary meeting of the club after the festive period.
In an interview with the Herald, Chigowe said
<blockquote>Denver (Mukamba), just like any other player, is expected to report for duty. We want players who are committed to the team to play for this club.
We cannot be seen making noise about a single player. He has not been coming to training, and we have since notified the executive. We will sit down and deliberate on the issue. He is not the only player who can lift us. Of course, he is talented but I only work with those who want to work.</blockquote>

Lloyd Chigowe Likely To Chop Denver Mukamba From Team

Speaking to The Herald, South African football legend Jomo Sono said Denver Mukamba is a talented player who was destroyed by the lifestyle in South Africa.
Sono was in Zimbabwe this week for the match between the Warriors Legends and the World Class Legends at the National Sports Stadium on Wednesday. He also advised that soccer players should go to school so that they have something to do when their footballing career is over. Said Sono:
<blockquote>Denver was a shame. Denver had everything, but the lifestyle in South Africa killed him. Life is too fast there. There are too many beautiful women. I also don’t know if the liquor there is different to the liquor here, but what a player! What a player he is! You know, he had everything that guy, but his lifestyle was not good. The Lifestyle In South Africa Killed Denver Mukamba: South African Football Legend Jomo Sono

Denver Mukamba’s manager Gibson Mahachi confirmed to The Herald that the CAPS United player was rushed to Harare Central Hospital after complaining of a stomach bug. He was discharged yesterday afternoon. 
Mukamba who is on a one year loan from Dynamos is expected to resume training today with CAPS United ahead of the first leg of the Harare Derby which turns 41 on Sunday. His manager Gibson Mahachi confirmed his client spent Monday night in hospital. Said Mahachi:
<blockquote>He wasn’t feeling well on Monday night and he was rushed to Harare Hospital where he was detained and treated before he was released today (yesterday). He is fine right now, it was a stomach bug and he should be available for training tomorrow (today). There was a communication breakdown last week when CAPS United were leaving for Chiredzi and that resulted in Denver not traveling. Denver remains committed to CAPS United, during the time he is contracted at the club and it’s unfortunate that false stories will always be created for him by those who have their issues with him.</blockquote>

Denver Mukamba Rushed To Hospital

Dynamos Football Club fired midfielder Denver Mukamba for indiscipline.
The decision to fire Mukamba was reached after coach Lloyd Mutasa and his technical crew which includes assistants Biggie Zuze and Zondai Nyaungwa and team manager Richard Chihoro met with the club’s management last week. Dynamos secretary general Webster Marechera was not eager to answer The Herald’s inquiry into the details of the meeting that sealed Mukamba’s fate but sources from the club said Mtasa and his technical team recommended Mukamba’s dismissal.
Other players that have been fired by Dynamos include; Takunda Sadiki, Carlos Rusere, Musa Madhiri, King Nasama and goalkeeper Ashley Reyners. Mutasa will this year conduct trials for selected newcomers unlike last year’s open trials.

Dynamos Fires Denver Mukamba

Dynamos has forgiven Denver Mukamba and given him a final warning to improve his behaviour and commitment to the club or be dropped. Mukamba and Lincoln Zvasiya appeared before Dynamos’ executive committee yesterday facing disciplinary charges related to their poor conduct and alleged bad influence on the rest of the team.
Zvasiya, whose contract with Dynamos expires at the end of next month, was told to start looking for a new club to join as they have no plans for him. Dynamos secretary-general Webster Marechera said that the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings were done in consultation with coach Lloyd Mutasa. Said Marechera:
<blockquote>We met with Mukamba and Zvasiya and we looked at their cases after we received a report from the head coach and his technical team. As an executive we resolved that we would give Denver a final warning over his conduct which is certainly not acceptable at all at Dynamos. We were very frank with them and told them that this was the first time we were meeting with them as an executive over this matter after we also realised that they had continued to give problems at the team. We also took into account the contracts that we have with us and we felt that since Denver still has a contract that runs up to July 2019 we could give him another chance to improve on his conduct and possibly become a better player and in return he also apologised and vowed that he would now do things differently. As for Zvasiya we have just over a month before his contract with the club expires and we resolved that the best decision is to ask him to look for a new club to join for next year.</blockquote>

Dynamos midfielder Denver Mukamba has been invited by PHD Ministries leader Walter Magaya to attend today’s Night of Turn Around 6 in Harare for deliverance.
Mukamba’s special invitation to the event was facilitated by his cousin brother and former Dynamos and CAPS United forward Clive Kawinga, who is now a born again Christian and a member of PHD. Said Kawinga:
<blockquote>My brother is really talented. He still has a bright future ahead as long as he is willing to change. Fans love him, so he should repay them before they lose patience. It is not too late to change. I went through that path but it got me nowhere. It hurts me, what he is doing. Last week I received numerous calls from people after he failed to report for training before the Ngezi match. I made a lot of mistakes during my career but l have realised that l won’t get anywhere with that type of behaviour. Magaya invites Mukamba for deliverance

Denver Mukamba and Lincoln Zvasiya will next week know whether they will be staying at Dynamos or will be transferred because of disciplinary issues.
Mukamba and Zvasiya skipped training last week ahead of a crucial match against Ngezi Platinum which Dynamos lost 2-0. The situation was worsened by reports that Zvasiya was seen in Mhondoro after skipping training.
Team manager Richard Chihoro said the issue of the duo will be resolved next week after Sunday’s match against Chapungu. Said Chihoro:

Dynamos player Denver Mukamba received a last minute call up from interim coach Sunday Chidzambwa to join the Warriors squad that will play against Namibia in an Africa Nations Championship qualifier in Windhoek on Sunday.
There are now four Dynamos players in the squad after skipper Ocean Mushure, Obey Mwerahari and Emmanuel Mandiranga. Chidzambwa also called up Yadah FC defenders Jimmy Dzingai and Dennis Dauda. Striker Francesco Zekumbawira was also called up following the injury to Ngezi Platinum’s Terrence Dzvukamanja. Ronald Chitiyo was pulled out of the squad after his father collapsed and he had to attend to the matter. Chicken Inn left-back Divine Lunga is yet to report for camp after he was called in to replace Honest Moyo who is currently in South Africa for trials.
