By now, I’m sure that you have gathered that I’m a jungle junkie. I would rather sleep in a tented camp than a 5-star hotel. I would rather go hiking than swimming. 1. Matobo Hills
The name sums it all. Matobo Hills are inside the Matobo National Park. You can spend the whole holiday hiking or incorporate other activities like game viewing and fishing. You will also get the chance to stay at the Matobo Hills Lodge or bring your own camping equipment. What more could a holidaymaker ask for?
2. Nyanga and Nyangani Mountains
Most sights in Nyanga are steep-rocky terrain punctuated with patches of rolling lawns. The Nyanga World View centre has a hiking spot, if you go on top of the mountain you will see breathtaking views of areas surrounding Nyanga. Take it from me the sight is breathtaking. But you can only see it after a steep hike.
3. Umfurudzi Safari Park Mountains
This safari park is close to Harare. The vast safari has breathtaking views that a mountain climber will greatly enjoy.
