Khama Billiat has finished second in the CAF African Player of the year award after getting 228 votes behind of Sundowns teammate, goalkeeper Dennis Onyango who won with 252 votes.
Billiat’s team Sundowns won the African Club of the Year with their coach Pitso Mosimane clinching the Coach of the Year award. Meanwhile the Mighty Warriors lost to Nigeria’s Super Falcons who won the Women’s National Team of the Year after winning their 8th AFCON title.
