Mnangagwa Govt Given 30 Days To Address Issues Or Face More Protests

Pressure group #Tajamuka frontman Promise Mkwananzi said President Emmerson Mnangagwa has 30 days to agree to dialogue, leading to a negotiated political settlement.

Mkwananzi said the process which should  lead to elections should be facilitated by the Southern African Development Community (Sadc) and the African Union (AU). Said Mkwananzi

We are putting the government on a month’s notice to address the issues we have raised or else they will face more anger from the people. This process should be underwritten by Sadc and the AU community. The priority of the process should be on implementation of the constitution and revival of the economy,. After that, then we can have fresh elections because the reason why we are in this economic mess is because of flawed elections, which resulted in a legitimacy crisis for the current government.

  1. Can there be a country that can be run through pressure groups. If these guys feel they want to govern this country, they should start preparing for 2023 elections and contest in those elections not this nonsense of being noise makers. People are losing interest in all this.

  2. Mkwananzi who are you unoda kuti nyika yese iite zvaunoda iwe. mari yamunopiwa pressure groups will not work. Zimbabweans are ready to defend themselves

  3. Constructive dialogue with all Zimbabweans [and even embrace internationals forget about the theoretical claims on sovereignty, that is already a toxic pill ] which is long overdue is quite a great solution to the current impasse because very soon the situation could escalate. The nation needs peace and all need to be equally on board and you need not the abrasive revolutionary approach but a progressive all -inclusive developmental approach with the younger generation given pride of place.
