Wadyajena turns to Alex Magaisa after disorderly conduct trial fails to kick off

Gokwe-Nembudziya member of parliament Justice Mayor Wadyajena has turned to lawyer Alex Magaisa after the trial where he is being accused of insulting Letina Undenge failed to kick off, on Monday morning because key witnesses did not turn up. As a result, Victoria Falls magistrate Rangarirai Gakanje has now set the 24th of January 2017 as the new date for trial.

Wadyajena is facing a charge of disorderly conduct allegedly for insulting Letina Undenge, who is wife to Energy and Power Development Minister Samuel Undenge during the Zanu PF 15th annual National People’s Conference in Victoria Falls in December last year. The prosecutor Mr Listen Nare told the court that the police failed to serve the two witnesses Undenge and Obvious Khumalo with summons and no explanation was given.

In a tweet that seems to have been deleted, Wadyajena said to Magaisa:
