International auditors help Zim generate 100m in new tax revenues

Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) have helped the Zimbabwean government to generate an additional $100 million in  new tax revenues. The TIWB was setup in 2015 by the United Nations to curb widespread tax avoidance by multinational enterprises in developing countries.

In a statement,  TIWB said it had generated more than $260 million in additional tax revenues in 8 countries and this “… includes more than $100 million in new tax revenues generated through TIWB audits in Zimbabwe, demonstrating the tremendous potential for future projects.”
