In a letter sent to all Heads of Diplomatic Missions, International organisations and Honorary Consulates, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Sibusiso Moyo advised that the inauguration for President-Elect Emmerson Mnangagwa will be held on the 12th of August. Mnangagwa was declared the winner of the presidential election by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) although opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has vowed to challenge the results alleging that Zec rigged the election in favour of Mnangagwa.
