Responding to questions from journalists regarding Nelson Chamisa’s statements that he will reject any electoral outcome that does not favour him, former Sadc secretary general Tomaz Salamao said the MDC Alliance presidential candidate should be prepared for any result.
Salamao is leading a delegation of poll observers which also includes respected Roman Catholic cleric Father Fidelis Mukonori. Said Salamao:
If anyone has made those statements we will at the appropriate time engage him to advise that in democracy there are rules. There are winners and losers, they should be prepared to lose.
Salamao said his team will make an effort to meet with Mugabe.

They put too much trust and oath to their wives not knowing they can be a shocker. Dont be overwhelmed and overzealous about the electorate, they will shock u but vaikuunganira, i think they should put everything to God, if God said u will be president one of the days, no-one can deny or prevent that.
