Addressing Zanu-PF supporters at Ntepe High School ground in Gwanda yesterday, Vice President Constantino Chiwenga said the Zanu-PF Government will revive the Basic Education Assistance Module (BEAM) to help orphans and other vulnerable children.
Said Chiwenga:
We realised that there a handful of schools in this side of the country which means our children in Matabeleland South are not fully benefiting from STEM. We are also going to revive the Basic Education Assistance Module (BEAM) to help orphans and other vulnerable children.
In March 2018, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Professor Paul Mavima revealed that Government owes different schools $82m unpaid fees for students under the Basic Education Assistance Module (Beam) programme.
