Zanu-PF Midlands Provincial chairperson Daniel Mackenzie-Ncube said they are looking at ways to deal with five members who decided to run as independent candidates in the July 30 elections.
The five are Tsikadzashe Nemato (Gokwe-Kana), Johannes Marise (Gokwe-Mafungautsi), Dorothy Mhangami (Gokwe-Central) and Jossinia Maupa (Kwekwe-Central). Mackenzie-Ncube said the party will listen to their concerns first before deciding on how to deal with them. Said Mackenzie-Ncube:
We have five cadres who have decided to stand as independent candidates due to reasons yet unknown to the party. But we are still looking at ways to deal with the matter. We are a democratic party that listens to everyone’s concerns. We will listen to their concerns and come up ways of dealing with them. By the end of the week we would have come up with a solution.

Indeed such follies must be shunned.. The president has always been heeding a call for unity, transparency, togetherness even for the winners and losers therefore thers need to deal with the individuals who escaped the verdict
