The Mqondisi Moyo-led Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) has told Minister of Home Affairs and Culture, Obert Mpofu, that they will not be intimidated. This comes after the Minister threatened the MRP with arrest for disrupting meetings of the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission (NPRC). The MRP argues that the NPRC which is looking into the Gukurahunndi Massacres among other issues is made up of mainly Shona people and needs to be reconstituted.
MRP spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo said:
We take note of the warning by the coup government apologist…Mpofu….of the imminent arrests of MRP activists and supporters.
Our knowledge of the history of Mpofu reminds us that he has never spoken from his own job description, but that of the…Zanu PF clique. This proves beyond doubt that Cabinet business in Zimbabwe is not done according to the Constitution, but Zanla command.

The problem I have with Gukurahundi is the timing of this issue. MUGABE is alive and was the head of state Both Joshua Nkomo and Mugabe are part of the unity accord. The state has got no money to compensate people at the moment. That they have opened this is a good thing but we need to move together to rebuild Zimbabwe. This Tribalistic approach will cause problems. Davengwa so far will not like the outcome of his involvement in trying to start a failed civil war. We need a peaceful election I think people like Davengwa are being irresponsible we are all ZIMBABWEANS one Nation. Emmerson was put in place by popular uprising obviously people now distancing themselves from it are purely Jealous in my own opinion this man had good negotiating skills to have been able to rope in the Army of all ZIMBABWEANS. If people are not happy the elections are there the man at the helm in the Army is ndebele Zanu PF has a balanced tribal combination of Zimbabwe an uprising in Matebelelant will bring a second Gukurahundi people must stop and think as one nstion
what do you expect from a looter if they were really sorry they should have commissioned the people who were affected who were there as they know what happened zanu is always biased. wording is very important when narrating now to zanu it will be at their advantage as they will chose the words which suit them it will be distorted as our history which say Chimurenga started in 19666 but munangagwa blew up the railway in 1963 other events happened before that, what were they if not Chimurenga war, don’t fight with lunatics you will never win they want to make you angry then you retaliate then they kill you as their sacrifices for the 2018 election they can’t do without blood shed
