Opposition parties threaten to sue Rainbow Tourism Group after being kicked out of hotel

Political parties under the Coalition Of Democrats (CODE) have threatened legal action against Rainbow Tourism Group, after they were kicked out of a Harare hotel owned by the government.

Speaking to NewZimbabwe.com, CODE spokesperson, Kurauone Chihwayi, said that they had paid to use facilities at New Ambassador Hotel in the capital for a press conference where Dumiso Dabengwa’s party would formally join the grouping. He said the parties were shocked Thursday morning as armed police stopped them from entering the hotel despite having booked and paid about $800 in advance.
