“Mdhara Vachauya” should only be played in honour of President Mugabe: Chipanga tells DJ

ZANU-PF youth leader Kudzanayi Chipanga, who seems to be campaigning to be President Mugabe’s boot licker in chief, warned the disc jockey (DJ) that Jah Prayzah’s hit song “mdhara vachauya” should only be played for President Mugabe. This was after the DJ played the hit song as Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa arrived at the Youth Interface Rally in Gweru, something Chipanga took issue with. He told the DJ:

I heard the DJ playing the song, Mdhara Vachauya song and I wondered who that song was played for.

The only old man is baba (father) Mugabe and all others like Mnangagwa are little uncles because the old man is one.

The song now has political undertones and in certain sections, it is associated with Mnangagwa who is viewed as the leader who is coming to rescue the country.
