Robert Gabriel Mugabe University to be built in Mazowe with $1 billion grant

The cabinet has approved the building of the Robert Gabriel Mugabe University (RGMU) which is set to be located in the Mazowe area. A $1 billion grant from the government will be used for the construction of the university.  According to the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Professor Jonathan Moyo, the Robert Gabriel Mugabe University will be the first 100% STEM university. However, it will be for graduate students and will be incubated by the University of Zimbabwe.
