Norton mayor approaches High Court for restraining order against Mliswa

Norton mayoress Precious Mufahore has approached the High Court seeking a restraining order which seeks to bar Norton MP Temba Mliswa from interfering with council business alleging that the legislator is pursuing a tribal agenda against the Masvingo dominated municipality.

However, Mliswa said that he himself is Karanga hence squashing Mufahore’s claim. Mufahore also said Mliswa probably has a grudge against the current Norton municipal leadership because its female-dominated as there are seven female councillors and six men.
