An almost complete house belonging to an unnamed teacher is among hundreds of houses that were demolished by Goromonzi Rural District Council in Diamond Park, Melfort last week.
The teacher said he had permission from the central government to build it in the first place. He says he has nowhere to stay adding that he will acquire tents to shelter him.
Hundreds of houses have been demolished countrywide with authorities arguing that they were erected in undesignated places. Watch the video below for more.

Somebody has to be answerable for these demolitions because surely those “home owners” are not illegal settlers but people who bought/paid for those pieces of land. They need to be compensated for tha land they bought, the houses/structures they put up, for wasted time/effort they put in hoping they now had a place they call “home/imba/indhlu”
