Serial Fraudster Aged 60, Finally Arrested

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has announced the arrest of a 60-year-old serial Harare fraudster, Dovan Tshikubadzo Ncube.

National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said in a statement that Ncube was arrested on Wednesday in connection with several cases of fraud.

Asst Comm Nyathi said Ncube duped several victims after purporting to be able to facilitate their issuance of travel documents and national identity documents and demanding various amounts of cash in United States Dollars. He said:

The suspect also used his WhatsApp number 0773 331 166 to contact unsuspecting victims promising them employment in the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Zimbabwe National Army and other Government departments while impersonating some high ranked Government officials.
