Woman who accused Mutsvangwa’s son of rape in court for fraud

Ruvimbo Mitchel Tserai (28) who accused Neville Mutsvangwa of raping her is in court for fraud after advertising and collecting rent for a property that is already leased to another tenant.

Tserai pleaded guilty when she appeared before magistrate Lanzini Ncube and was remanded in custody to April 19 2017 for sentencing. She used three names on Facebook; Mitchel Rue, Juliet Matiza and Runako Reinventing Beauty to lure unsuspecting victims. The court heard that Tserai would advertise a property in Mabelreign. One of her victims Tendai Mhembere liked the property and paid $400 but was told that the occupant was refusing to move out when he wanted to move in on February 1. Mhembere filed a police report after Tserai kept giving excuses.

The court heard that Tserai defrauded several people using the same method and over 50 people were in court and threatened to demonstrate if she was released on bail.
