PICTURES: Zimbabweans Ignore Coronavirus ‘Social Distancing’ As They Scrounge For Basics

Pictures of Zimbabweans queueing to buy basic necessities at Machipisa, Highfield, Harare, posted on Twitter by ZANU PF Against Sanctions shows that requirement to observe social distancing recommended to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is being disregarded. The pictures were captioned with these words:

#Covid19-ZIM LOCKDOWN #DAY4- Machipisa, Harare

Residents in Highfields Machipisa appear to be violating the LockDown directive as they queue to buy basic commodities. The party recommends them to observe social distancing. Relevant shops must enforce this directive forthwith.
