Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Lazarus Dokora has been sued by CBZ Bank Limited after failing to pay back a loan. The bank is claiming $21 000 plus interest at 26 per annum and is seeking to attach the minister’s property.
The minister applied for and received the loan for medication in 2009, but as of January 2017, he owes $21 194 to the Bank.
Dokora is yet to file his response to the claim.
