Carjacker finds God in court, asks to pray before confessing and admitting all charges

Farai Mlauzi (19) of changed his plea from guilty and confessed to all his crimes after discovering God in the middle of his trial. Mlauzi was facing charges of carjacking along with Hloniphani Ndlovu (31).

During his cross-examination, Mlauzi said he wanted to stop lying because God had spoken to him. Addressing the court he said:

I’m tired of all these lies Your Worship. May this court forgive me for wasting its time

…God has spoken to me. I’m willing to confess and tell the court all that transpired but before I do that may I be granted permission to pray.

After the prayer Mlauzi confessed said:

We work for a boss called Brighton Ndlovu. He is a tout at a garage in the city centre. He is the one who ordered us to steal these cars and burn them to conceal evidence. I’ve been lying all along in order to protect him. Enough is enough. I’m tired of all this. If the police could come for me at the prison I would lead them to Ndlovu. He stays in Rangemore.

He was remanded to Friday for sentence while Ndlovu was remanded to the 10th of March
