President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said that the detractors of the ruling ZANU PF had now resorted to using social media including Twitter to spread “falsehoods”.
Speaking at the party’s 18th Annual People’s Conference which is currently underway at Goromonzi High School in Mashonaland East, Mnangagwa said that reports spread on social media will never change anything in the country.
He said that the party must let the detractors continue spreading information on social media whilst ZANU PF continues to rule, ichingotonga.
His remarks come as social media is awash with messages which allegedly expose the government’s maladministration practices which have reportedly brought the country’s economy to its knees.
