The Zimbabwe Netball World Cup players received 200 Pounds each from A United Kingdom-based financial services company, Express Links International.
The donation was made ahead of Tuesday night’s match against Barbados. The Zimbabwe Gems won the match 66-41.
Sports and Recreation Commission board member Titus Zvomuya expressed gratitude to the company’s chief executive officer Peter Pembere. Zvomuya wrote on Facebook:
