MultiChoice, celebrating 30 years of DStv, will host an Open Time Weekend from 7 to 9 November 2025, giving all active DStv decoder subscribers free access to Premium channels for three days.
The promotion allows subscribers to enjoy blockbuster movies, top-tier sports, and exclusive entertainment channels without upgrading their packages. Streaming-only customers are not included in the offer.
According to MultiChoice, the initiative is designed to thank loyal customers while giving others a chance to experience the full DStv Premium package.
In addition, MultiChoice will cut the price of HD decoders by 30% in retail stores and over 40% through its new DStv online store, starting 1 November.
The move aims to reconnect lapsed customers and lower entry barriers amid growing competition from Netflix, Showmax, and Disney+.
