PSL Hauls Chicken Inn Before Disciplinary Committee

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has summoned Chicken Inn to appear before its Disciplinary Committee following the abandonment of their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against Scottland at Rufaro Stadium on Friday, 23 May 2025.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, 4 June, PSL Communications and Media Liaison Officer Kudzai Bare confirmed that Chicken Inn faces several charges. 

These include disorderly conduct, failure by players and officials to comply with lawful orders, disrupting the normal proceedings of the match, and ultimately causing the match to be abandoned. Said Bare:

Additionally, Chicken Inn FC player George Majika has also been summoned on allegations of disorderly conduct and failure to comply with lawful orders.

Bare said the disciplinary hearing will be held at the PSL offices on Thursday, 26 June 2025.
