Wicknell Chivayo has given comedian and musician Kapfupi another Toyota Aqua, after the one he gifted him in 2024 was written off in a car crash.
Last week, Kapfupi, whose real name is Freddy Manjalima, asked Chivayo for another car and blamed the accident on what he called “evil forces” from his home village, saying there are people who don’t want him to succeed.
Kapfupi, who called Chivayo “father,” posted on social media on Tuesday that he’s now having to rely on public transport.
On Sunday, 01 June, Chivayo came through with a brand-new Toyota Aqua, plus $3,000 in cash. Out of that, $2,000 is for Kapfupi to use however he likes, and $1,000 is set aside for full car insurance with either NicozDiamond, FBC Insurance, or CBZ Insurance. Chivayo shared details of the donation via his social media platforms:

They typically charge between 5-10% of the car’s value for insurance. Since your car is worth $9,000, $1,000 is more than enough for a full year’s coverage.
You will first receive the registration book in your name. Once payment is completed, they will give you a cover note, and then you can return to Madzibaba Chipaga to collect your car.
