Michael Nees Names Warriors Squad For Burkina Faso, Niger Friendlies

Warriors coach Michael Nees announced the squad on Tuesday, 27 May, ahead of upcoming friendlies against Burkina Faso and Niger next month.

Zimbabwe will face Burkina Faso on 6 June 2025 in Morocco, followed by a match against Niger on 10 June, also in Morocco.

Goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze has been included in the squad, along with Tino Kadewere, Bill Antonio, and Jonah Fabisch, the son of legendary former Warriors coach Reinhard Fabisch, who have all been called up for the two matches.
