Police in Goromonzi and Inyati are investigating two suspected murder cases after the bodies of two men were discovered floating in separate water bodies on Thursday, 23 May.
In the first incident, 34-year-old Nelson Kaingidza was found dead in Hunyani Dam at Maikoro Farm, days after he went missing.
Kaingidza had reportedly left home on 19 May to go for prayer and fasting at the farm but never returned.
When his body was eventually recovered, police said it had marks on the legs that suggested foul play.
In a separate case in Inyati, the body of 33-year-old Shepherd Mashava was found floating in the Mwarazi River.
He had gone missing on 17 May after allegedly being assaulted by a man named James George during a dispute over braai meat at a local sports bar at Chinyudze Business Centre.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police have urged anyone with information regarding either case to report to the nearest police station as investigations continue.
