PSL Matchday 13 Fixtures: CAPS United Host Simba Bhora, GreenFuel Take On MWOS

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League 9PSL) enters Match Day 13 this weekend with a full slate of fixtures set to captivate fans across the country, as clubs jostle for crucial points in what is shaping up to be a tightly contested campaign.

MWOS, in their debut PSL season, are the early pace-setters with 26 points, closely followed by Scottland in second place with 23 points.

Defending champions Simba Bhora occupy third position with 22 points, while Herentals College and Highlanders round out the top five with 19 and 18 points, respectively.

Weekend action kicks off on Friday, 23 May, with Scottland hosting Chicken Inn at Rufaro Stadium. Kick-off is at 3 PM, with the home side hoping to take advantage of familiar surroundings against an experienced Chicken Inn outfit.

Saturday, 24 May, brings a busy schedule with six matches lined up across the country. Kwekwe United welcome TelOne to Bata Stadium, while GreenFuel will be looking to assert their dominance at GreenFuel Arena when they take on MWOS.

One of the headline fixtures of the weekend sees Ngezi Platinum Stars facing off against Dynamos at Baobab Stadium.

Dynamos, still reeling from off-field unrest and currently languishing near the foot of the table, will be eager to turn the tide under new coach Saul Chaminuka.

Meanwhile, Ngezi Platinum Stars will look to capitalise on home advantage and maintain their push up the standings.

Elsewhere, Bikita Minerals are set to square off against ZPC Kariba at Gibbo Stadium, while Yadah host title hopefuls FC Platinum at the Heart Stadium.

Sunday, 25 May, rounds off the matchday with three important fixtures. Triangle United will lock horns with Manica Diamonds at Gibbo Stadium, while CAPS United host Simba Bhora at Rufaro Stadium.

The weekend’s action concludes at Barbourfields Stadium, where Highlanders take on Herentals College in what promises to be an entertaining encounter in front of the passionate Bulawayo crowd.
