Sunhats, Work Suits And Gumboots Stolen From National Foods Warehouse, Police Intercept Suspects At Renkini Bus Terminus

Police in Bulawayo have arrested Thabo Dube in connection with a case of unlawful entry and theft that took place in the early hours of 16 May 2025.

According to a statement from the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), Dube and his alleged accomplice, Mukhululi Ncube, who remains at large, are accused of breaking into a National Foods warehouse on Batch Street at around 3 AM.

The pair reportedly made off with 88 sunhats, 26 work suits, three pairs of gumboots, and a welding machine.

Officers from Mzilikazi Police Station, who were on night patrol, intercepted the two men at Renkini Bus Terminus while they were carrying the stolen goods.

Dube was immediately arrested, while Ncube fled the scene and is currently being sought by the police.
