Scottland Medical Centre in Old Mabvuku, owned by Mabvuku MP and Scottland FC owner Pedzai “Scott” Sakupwanya, has announced the introduction of two vital healthcare services aimed at improving medical access and support for the local community.
Starting Friday, 16 May, the centre will offer ultrasound scan services from 10 AM, conducted by experienced medical professionals.
This new service will provide patients with accurate diagnostic imaging to assist in the detection and management of a range of medical conditions. Said N. Sira, the centre’s administrator:
We are pleased to announce that our medical centre will be offering ultrasound scan services on Friday, 16th May, starting at 10:00 am.
Our experienced medical professionals will be available to perform these scans, providing you with accurate and reliable diagnostic results.
This service will enable us to better diagnose and manage various medical conditions, ensuring you receive the best possible care.
Ultrasound scans will now be available every Friday, giving patients regular access to this essential diagnostic tool.
In addition, the centre has launched Antenatal Care (ANC) services to support expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys.
ANC services will be available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM.
The antenatal care programme includes routine pregnancy check-ups, health education and counselling, screening for potential complications, and referrals to specialists where necessary.
The initiative is part of the centre’s commitment to promoting safe pregnancies and healthy deliveries. Said Sira:
We encourage all expectant mothers to take advantage of these services to ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
