The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League delivered another thrilling weekend of football action, with exciting results across the country.
Matches played on 10 and 11 May 2025 saw a mix of high-scoring encounters and tight draws.
On 11 May 2025, Kwekwe United were defeated 4-2 by Chicken Inn. Scottland secured a 2-0 win against Simba Bhora.
Triangle United triumphed 2-0 over Dynamos, while Highlanders played to a 1-1 draw with FC Platinum.
On 10 May 2025, MWOS drew 2-2 with TelOne. Greenfuel and Manica Diamonds played out a goalless draw, while CAPS United and Herentals also ended in a 1-1 draw.
Ngezi Platinum Stars played to a 2-2 draw with ZPC Kariba, and Bikita Minerals shared the points in a 1-1 draw with Yadah.
MWOS continue to lead the table with 23 points, edging out second-placed Scottland by just one point. Scottland’s 2-0 win over Simba Bhora pushed them into a strong position, sitting on 22 points.
Simba Bhora remain in third place with 19 points, while Highlanders, who shared the spoils with FC Platinum in a 1-1 draw, sit fourth with 18 points. Both TelOne and Ngezi Platinum Stars are tied on 17 points, occupying 5th and 6th places respectively.
At the other end of the table, the struggles continue for Dynamos, Triangle United, and Kwekwe United. Dynamos, who suffered a 2-0 defeat to Triangle United, remain in 16th place with 8 points. Triangle United’s win pushed them up to 17th with the same points total, while Kwekwe United remain at the foot of the table with 7 points after their 4-2 loss to Chicken Inn.
