With all this money they collect why can’t they provide fast, reliable internet connection? We have been made to accept and normalize weak, slow and unreliable network connections when most business now depends on connectivity. Come on, this is 2023 and not 2000 when a people bought sim cards at the cost of a cow. Please ECONET and all other service providers, give us a better deal. Nyika inobudirira sei with such sluggish and erratic networks? Modern economies demand fast, reliable and affordable internet connections, puleeeez!
Agreed, our neighbours pay between ZAR590 to 900 for uncapped internet at between 25 to 50Mbps. Botswana pay BWP900 to 1600. We pay between USD145 and 220. Four times as much for half the speed. Then they reduce the speed further, if you use it. Zimbabweans are being bent over. Maybe this is a message from the carriers that we must go back to smoke signals and pigeons. Only wealthy can use it.
