Former Warriors striker Rudo Neshamba has joined Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe as a coach.
She becomes the latest high-profile football personality to join the academy after the likes of former footballers Murape Murape, Gift Lunga, Zenzo Moyo, and Tichaona Diya.
Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe chairperson, Gerald Sibanda said Neshamba will bring a lot of experience to the academy. He said:
Rudo (Neshamba) joins our campus to pursue her coaching career, as we advance the evolution of our women’s teams.
It’s an exciting chapter in the vision of Real Betis Academy in Zimbabwe.
She brings a lot of experience, mentorship and leadership skills to all our players, both boys and girls.
Neshamba, who was part of the historic Mighty Warriors squad that qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games, said:
I am happy to join Betis, the Academy has shown great progress over the years in Zimbabwe.
I will bring my experience from my journey in football as a player and I look forward to learning and developing as a Coach under the guidance of the Real Betis Technical Support.
