Rimbi Tours Buses Still Breaking Traffic Laws Despite Conditions In Lifting Of Suspension

Buses belonging to Harare-based bus company Rimbi Tours continue to break traffic laws despite the conditions in the lifting of its operating license by government.

The Ministry of Transport  suspended the operating licenses of Rimbi and Zebra Kiss following an accident which involved the respective companies’ two buses along the Harare-Nyamapanda highway.

The suspension was later lifted , with the conditions being Rimbi’s compliance to all terms and conditions, chief among them measures against reckless and negligent driving.

However, some Rimbi buses which ply the Harare-Bulawayo route continue to pick passengers at undesignated spots at Harare Showgrounds.

One bus was even pictured picking up Bulawayo-bound passengers just after the corner Samora and Rekai Tangwena Avenue traffic lights.
