The Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcast Services has told journalists who wish to cover the visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, to dress ‘appropriately’.

Lukashenko arrived in Zimbabwe yesterday and will be in the country until February 1,  on a historic state visit.

An official from the Information Ministry said in a statement that all female journalists wishing to cover the Belarusian head of state should not wear ‘revealing’ clothes while male media practitioners were advised to tuck-in their shirts as it is a formal event.
