GMB Employees Arrested For Stealing 190 Bags of Fertilizer Meant for Pfumvudza

Three Grain Marketing Board (GMB) employees have been arrested for allegedly stealing fertilizer meant for Pfumvudza.

Philani Ndlovu (47), Calvin Kuedzisa (22) and Tafara Kudengeya in connection with a case of theft of 190 bags of fertilizer meant for the Presidential Input in Hwange. 

The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the trio’s arrest through  a statement. 

Reads the statement:

The ZRP confirms the arrest of three Grain Marketing Board (GMB) employees, Philani Ndlovu (47), Calvin Kuedzisa (22) and Tafara Kudengeya in connection with with a case of theft of 190 by 50kgs fertilizers meant for the Presidential Input (Pfumvudza) which occurred on 26 January 2023 in Hwange. 

The total value stolen in USD7000 and USD6631 was recovered.
