Lewin started doing music in primary at the age of 8, at that time, he was playing Marimba instruments.
He continued playing the Marimba all the way to Churchill Boys High where he did Form 1 to 6.
He was part of the Churchill Band Crew that performed at a number of events which included weddings, corporate meetings, fun days and other events. The team included Gary Tight, Ishan Ril Baad, and Tino Mudepu, to name a few
