The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has reported a theft case in which an unnamed motorist lost his car at Kuwadzana 4 Shopping Centre on the 14th of December 2022.
A police report seen by Pindula News says the motorist had left the keys on the ignition port. Reads the statement:
The ZRP is investigating a case of theft of a motor vehicle which occurred at Kuwadzana 4 Shopping Centre on 14/12/22 at around 2000 hours. The complainant parked his light blue Honda Fit vehicle at the Shopping Centre and left the unattended car with the keys on the ignition port. When he returned he found the vehicle missing. Anyone with information to contact any nearest Police station.
Meanwhile, ZRP Bulawayo Central is investigating a hit-and-run road traffic accident in which an unknown motorist, driving an unidentified vehicle, hit a motorcycle along Bulawayo-Gwanda Road, near NUST turnoff, on Thursday 15 December 2022 at 2010 hours.
The motorist sped off after the accident, and the rider sustained severe head injuries.
Police reiterate that motorists should stop when involved in road traffic accidents, assist the injured if necessary and report all accidents to the Police within 24 hours.
