One Person Feared Dead After Collision Of Trucks In Mutare
One person is feared dead while several could be injured after two haulage trucks collided head-on near Mutare River, about 25 kilometres from Mutare along the Mutare – Harare highway this Saturday morning.
The person feared dead was a passenger aboard a Mozambique-bound truck, according to ZBC News.
The ZBC News crew arrived at the scene and observed police officers were in attendance and assisting with rescue efforts and removal of wreckage that was blocking the road.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened when the driver of a truck that was heading toward Harare encroached onto the lane of oncoming traffic.
